Responsibilities include assisting with operating a safe, sanitary, efficient kitchen, and serving meals in compliance with child care licensing, USDA, and Encompass policies and procedures.  Menu planning and the majority of food preparation is accomplished in a central kitchen.  Therefore the focus of this position is final food preparation and preparing family-style service for individual classrooms for breakfast, lunch, and snacks, as well as maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen.
