Responsibilities include assisting with operating a safe, sanitary, efficient kitchen and serving meals in compliance with child care licensing, USDA and Encompass policies and procedures.  Menu planning and the majority of food preparation is accomplished in a central kitchen.  Therefore the focus of this position is final food preparation and preparing family style service for individual classrooms for breakfast, lunch and snacks, as well as maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen.
