All-Day Child Care Program (Ages 6 Weeks – 4 Years)
Our All-Day Child Care Program provides a safe, nurturing space where infants through preschoolers grow through hands-on play and exploration. Guided by the HighScope active learning approach and Conscious Discipline, we support each child’s development—socially, emotionally, and academically—while fostering independence, empathy, and a lifelong love of learning.
Get Kids Ready 4K Program
The Get Kids Ready 4K Program provides a high-quality, play-based, and assessment-driven early learning experience designed to prepare children for success in kindergarten. The program is held Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 11:00 a.m., totaling 437 instructional hours over the school year. It is free for families and offered at all centers except Pulaski. Our curriculum incorporates the proven HighScope approach and Conscious Discipline practices to support both academic and social-emotional development.
All educators hold an associate degree or higher, ensuring children receive instruction from qualified early childhood professionals. Educators use COR data and kindergarten readiness reports to track growth and guide individualized instruction for each child.
Children must be 4 years on or before September 1st 2026, to be eligible for this program.

Summer Explorers
Offers fun and immersive full-day summer programs for children ages 4 to 12. The program includes weekly field trips to explore the local community, in-house visitors and events, as well as hands-on activities and experiences. Neighborhood trips include Brown County Central Library, Neville Museum and Fort Howard Park.
Before and After School Program
Our Before and After School Program provides a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can continue their learning journey beyond the classroom. Rooted in the principles of HighScope Active Learning, we encourage children to explore, create, and discover through purposeful play and hands-on experiences that build critical thinking, independence, and confidence.
Through community donations and support, Encompass can offer families tuition support to help lessen the burden of the cost of care. We do this by offering support based on a percentage of your family’s annual gross household income up to $125,000 and tapering off all assistance by $150,000 annual income. This program ensures that families who are under this annual income threshold do not pay more than 15% of their gross household income on childcare.
Family & Child Advocate Program
The Encompass Family & Child Advocate Program provides classroom care to children who may be experiencing a behavioral and/or developmental setback. They work to provide wraparound care and basic needs support to families. The Encompass Advocate Program can also assist in connecting you with many available community resources.
The Encompass Family Fridge provides free, fresh and nutritious grab-and-go food for children, families, staff and Foster Grandparents. This new initiative is part of our commitment to supporting the whole Encompass family, because when basic needs are met, children and adults alike are better able to thrive.
The AmeriCorps Seniors Foster Grandparent Program has provided Encompass classrooms with caring volunteer mentors for over 45 years. The program is an inter-generational connection for children, enhancing the quality of life for seniors while providing children with a consistent “grandparent” figure in the classroom.
